S-2. NON-OBSOLESCENCE EXPENDITURE BUDGET INCREASE FOR PURCHASE OF VIDEO EQUIPMENT FOR THE CHASE FIELD PRODUCTION ROOM Approve an increase to the FY 2009 Stadium District (680) Long Term Project Reserve Fund (450) Function 0001 in the amount of $350,000 for the purchase from fund balance of production equipment that will enhance the operation of the Chase Field production room and high definition video display. Under the Facility Management Agreement between the Maricopa County Stadium District and AZPB FM Limited Partnership, the Facility Manager is to use the Non-Obsolescence Account to update, refurbish, repair, or improve the Facility. During the past baseball offseason the Stadium District constructed a new high definition video display as well as a new production control room. Throughout the baseball season the Facility Manager has identified several pieces of equipment that would enhance the operation and productivity of the production room as well as the high definition video display. Funding for these expenditures is available in the Non-Obsolescence Account, as the current balance in the account is $1,750,444.41.Approval of this budget adjustment will allow the Maricopa County Stadium District to procure the production room equipment and integrate the equipment into the Chase Field production system prior to the beginning of the next baseball season. The procurement of the production room equipment will be in accordance with the Maricopa County Stadium District Procurement Code. (C-68-09-001-3-00)
