F-13. BIDS AND AWARD FOR EAST MESA DRAIN #7 CHANNEL IMPROVEMENTS Authorize the Flood Control District of Maricopa County (District) to issue an Invitation for Bids for Contract FCD 2009C009, East Mesa Drain #7 Channel Improvements (Project #442). Award the contract to the lowest responsible bidder if the bid is not more than ten percent over the engineer’s estimate. The District developed the East Mesa Drains Candidate Assessment Report to evaluate several earthen channels in Unincorporated Maricopa County that are maintained by the District. The East Mesa Drain #7 Channel, which is east of 85th Street and north of Broadway Road, was found to be a priority segment for channel lining improvements to mitigate erosion-related and other extensive maintenance activities. The project is located in Supervisory District 2. (C-69-10-022-5-00)
