F-5. BID AND AWARD FOR TRES RIOS OPERATIONS AND MAINTENANCE FENCE Authorize the Flood Control District of Maricopa County (District) to issue an Invitation for Bids for Contract FCD 2010C024, Tres Rios Operations and Maintenance Fence. Award the contract to the lowest responsible bidder if the bid is not more than ten percent (10%) over the engineer’s estimate. District property associated with the Tres Rios project has been subject to trespassing as a result of inadequate fencing. The District developed plans for a more impenetrable fence to protect District property and improvements thereon, and in addition to keep trespassers from injuring themselves on District property. This agenda item impacts Supervisory District 5. (C-69-10-068-5-00)
