75. AMENDMENT TO IGA WITH ARIZONA DEPARTMENT OF WATER RESOURCES FOR PRE-APPLICATION REVIEW SERVICES AND ASSOCIATED ACTIVITIES Approve Intergovernmental Agreement (IGA) Amendment No. 4 FCD 2010A006 for Arizona Department of Water Resources (Department) Pre-Application Review Services and Associated Activities between the Flood Control District of Maricopa County (District) and the Department. Amendment No. 4 modifies the terms of the original IGA FCD 2010A006 and previous Amendments 1, 2 and 3. The District agrees to pay $100.00 per staff-hour based on actual staff-hours worked (invoiced quarterly) not to exceed $300,000.00 per District fiscal year (July 1st through June 30th) for costs incurred by the Department in providing the detailed pre-application reviews by qualified Department staff under each year of this agreement from October 1, 2021 through June 30, 2023. Pre-application reviews by the Department result in earlier identification and resolution of design issues for all District dam projects which require a permit from the Department. Identification of the Department’s design concerns and issues early in the design process reduces costly redesign during the later stages of the design process.
