F-7. GENERAL RELEASE OF CLAIMS FOR MCDOWELL ROAD BASIN AND STORM DRAIN PROJECT Approve a General Release of Claims for the McDowell Road Basin and Storm Drain Project (Project [#420]), releasing Project consultant Kimley Horn and Associates, Inc. (KHA) against further claims by the Flood Control District of Maricopa County (District) for a design omission associated with the Project in exchange for $40,000 in compensation to the District. The Project experienced $40,000 in additional construction costs related to the omission of utilities on the Project plans which were in conflict with the Project improvements. KHA, has agreed to make payment to the District for the $40,000 in additional construction costs. This General Release of Claims states that no further claim will be made by the District against KHA for this design omission. This project is located in Supervisory District 2. (C-69-11-001-S-00)
