F-3. BIDS AND AWARD FOR WHITE TANKS FRS NO. 4 REHABILITATION PHASE I Authorize the Chief Engineer and General Manager of the Flood Control District of Maricopa County (District) to issue an Invitation for Bids for Contract FCD 2010C034, White Tanks FRS No. 4 Rehabilitation Phase I (Project #201), and to award the contract to the lowest responsible bidder if the bid is not more than 10% over the engineer’s estimate. Several dam safety deficiencies have been identified at White Tanks FRS No.4, and overall rehabilitation of the dam best meets District goals and objectives related to dam safety and public safety. Phase I, removal and replacement of the existing central filter will be the first step of this rehabilitation. This Agenda Item impacts Supervisor District 4. (C-69-11-016-5-00)
