F-3. AMENDMENT TO IGA WITH CITY OF SCOTTSDALE FOR 69TH PLACE AND AVALON DRIVE PROJECT Approve Amendment No.1 (Intergovernmental Agreement [IGA] FCD 2010A026A) to IGA FCD 2010A026 (C-69-11-041-3-00) for the 69th Place and Avalon Drive Drainage Improvement Project (Project [#699]) between the City of Scottsdale (City) and the Flood Control District of Maricopa County (District), increasing the District’s estimated share of the Project cost from $150,000 to $250,000 (a not to exceed amount, where the District’s not-to-exceed share also remains limited to 75% of eligible Project construction costs), and increasing the City’s estimated share of the Project cost from $50,000 to $250,000. This Amendment No.1 shall become effective when executed by all parties. The City proposed the Project for the District’s evaluation under the District’s Small Project Assistance Program for Fiscal Year 2011/12. The Project was recommended, scoring first among ten submittals by various municipalities. IGA 2010A026 was proposed in accordance with the terms of the Small Project Assistance Program, adopted by the Board under Resolution FCD 2009R003 (C-69-09-062-6-00), and was approved by the Board in February 2011. The Project will reduce flows that have caused documented historic flooding of four residential properties (including two multifamily units) and will reduce flows that have caused roadway or access closures in the vicinity of the Project.
