F-6. DECLARE/SELL EXCESS PARCEL - APN 502-34-017J Pursuant to A.R.S. §48-3603 request Board to authorize the Flood Control District (District) to sell excess parcel as described below to the Town of Buckeye (Town) for completion of the Town’s Park and Ride site. At the time of the sale, documents will be sent to the Board for approval. This parcel is described as a portion of APN 502-34-017J and is a vacant parcel of land located along the west side of Jackrabbit Road and approximately 1300 feet north of McDowell Road. The site is 3,563 square feet. The property was originally acquired for the White Tanks 4 channel project. When the property was originally acquired, the Town of Buckeye asked to purchase a portion of the property for the Town’s Park and Ride facility which will be built adjacent to the channel. The District utilizes its disposition program on all excess properties and evaluates and analyzes them for the best potential of sales or leasing depending upon current market information. The sale price of the property is determined to be $6,057.00 which was determined by the District’s Chief Appraiser. The sale affects Supervisorial District No. 4 (C-69-12-004-8-00)
