F-9. DECLARE/SELL EXCESS PARCEL-FCD A003.01 & A003.02 The District has been asked by the Arizona Department of Transportation to sell property for the Loop 303/I-10 interchange project. District staff has determined the property is no longer needed for District projects. Pursuant to A.R.S. §48-3603, the District requests the Board of Directors declare as excess parcels and authorize the Flood Control District of Maricopa County (District) to sell the parcels as described below, at public auction or in the event of sale to a municipality, or State of Arizona, at market value without an auction to reduce the District’s liability and maintenance. Conveyance documents for the sale of the parcel will be presented to the District Board of Directors for acceptance and signature at the time of sale. The parcel is located: 1.East of Citrus Rd., south of McDowell Rd. 2.Assessor Parcel Numbers 500-38-004W and 500-38-004X, Goodyear, AZ, 17.63 +/- acres or 768,102 +/- Sq Ft. 3.The parcel is partially located in a known flood plain. The District utilizes its Disposition Program on all excess properties to evaluate them for the best potential of sales or leasing, depending on current market information. The sale price of the property will be determined by a certified licensed appraiser. This item is located in Supervisory District #4. (C-69-12-007-8-00)

RESCIND ACTION REGARDING EXCESS PARCELS Rescind the action taken by the Board on August 3, 2011, agenda item C-69-12-007-8-00, that declared as excess parcels and authorized the Flood Control District of Maricopa County (District) to sell property for the Loop 303/I-10 interchange project, at public auction or in the event of sale to a municipality, or State of Arizona, at market value without an auction to reduce the District’s liability and maintenance. This was a duplicate action to the one previously approved by the Board on May 25, 2011, agenda item C-69-11-061-8-00. (C-69-12-007-8-01)
