F-2. IGA WITH TOWN OF GILBERT FOR DIGITAL AERIAL ORTHO-PHOTOGRAPHY Approve Intergovernmental Agreement (IGA) FCD 2011A015 between the Flood Control District of Maricopa County (District) and the Town of Gilbert (Town). The purpose of this Agreement is to define the roles and responsibilities of the District and Town for the cost sharing and data sharing of Digital Aerial Ortho-Photography. The total cost for the area to be photographed is estimated to be $65,785. The Town will reimburse the District their cost share obligation estimated to be $30,757.50. The Town will be responsible for performing quality control of the final products. Since December of 2000, the District has been acquiring digital ortho-rectified aerial photography with a horizontal accuracy of +/- 2.5 feet. This accuracy is necessary for the District’s regulatory and technical responsibilities. The District’s acquisition of the imagery for the 2011-2012 fiscal year is complete, the information will be used for Zone A floodplain determinations, for accurately depicting features on the ground and for floodplain determinations on the District Web site.
