F-4. CHANGE ORDER NO. 15 TO CONTRACT FCD 2011C013 WITH PIERSON CONSTRUCTION CORPORATION FOR LAFAYETTE INTERCEPTOR DRAIN AND OUTLET 1) Approve construction Change Order (CO) No. 15 in the amount of $550,000.00 to the Flood Control District of Maricopa County (District) Contract FCD 2011C013 – Lafayette Interceptor Drain and Outlet, with Pierson Construction Corporation (Contractor). 2) In accordance with Section 512(c) of the Maricopa County Procurement Code approve and authorize contract- specific change order authority for this contract as follows: increase the change order authority for the Chief Procurement Officer from $ 1,000,000.00 to $ 2,000,000.00 and for the Flood Control District Chief Engineer and General Manager from $ 250,000.00 to $ 500,000.00. On February 22, 2012, the Board authorized the construction call for bids for the Lafayette Interceptor Drain and Outlet Contract FCD 2011C013 (Agenda C-69-12-037-5-00). Change Order No. 15 compensates the contractor for unanticipated hard-dig conditions for the work south of Camelback Road. This Agenda Item impacts Supervisorial District 2. (C-69-13-065-5-00)
