F-1. IGA AMONG THE CITY OF PEORIA, THE CITY OF SURPRISE, AND THE FLOOD CONTROL DISTRICT FOR DESIGN OF THE 115TH AVENUE, UNION HILLS DRIVE AND 107TH AVENUE DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT Approve Intergovernmental Agreement (IGA) FCD 2012A005 for design of the 115th Avenue, Union Hills Drive and 107th Avenue Drainage Improvements Project (Project [#450]) among the City of Peoria, the City of Surprise, and the Flood Control District of Maricopa County (District). This IGA is for cost sharing of the Project design, and defines responsibilities for design of the Project. The estimated total Project design cost is $1,000,000 and will be shared 50%/25%/25% by the District and the cities of Peoria and Surprise. The IGA shall become effective when recorded at the office of the County Recorder and shall expire ten (10) years from the date of recording or upon Project completion, whichever comes first. The District, in cooperation with the cities of Peoria and Surprise, completed the Glendale/Peoria Area Drainage Master Plan Update (ADMPU) 107th Avenue and Union Hills Drive Design Concept Report (DCR). The DCR recommended the Project to mitigate flooding in the 115th Avenue, Union Hills Drive, and 107th Avenue area. The Project was also recommended in the FY 12/13 CIP Prioritization Procedure.
