F-3. ON-CALL QUALITY ASSURANCE TESTING SERVICES CONTRACT FCD 2013C005 WITH RICKER, ATKINSON, MCBEE, MORMAN & ASSOCIATES INC FOR POWERLINE FRS PROJECT Approve a Competition Impractical Procurement, Maricopa County Procurement Code, MCI-351, in the amount of $250,000.00, with Ricker, Atkinson, McBee, Morman & Associates, Inc., to provide Quality Assurance Testing Services for the construction of the Powerline FRS Project. The Contract will be effective for 730 calendar days from the date of execution or the expenditure of $250,000.00, whichever comes first. Ricker, Atkinson, McBee, Morman & Associates, Inc. provides Quality Assurance Testing Services under On-Call Contract FCD2012C024 for the Powerline FRS Project which is presently under construction. The original contract was $100,000.00 and has been fully expended. Due to unforeseen conditions, the allocated funds under the present Contract will not be sufficient to complete the Project. The proposed funds will provide continuation of Quality Assurance Testing Services during and after construction of the Powerline FRS Project by the same firm. As Ricker, Atkinson, McBee, Moran & Associates, Inc. is the Quality Assurance Testing Firm of Record for the Powerline FRS Project, it is the only firm with sufficient project expertise to provide Quality Assurance Testing Services. The project needs to retain the firm of record until project completion. This Agenda Item impacts Supervisorial District 1. (C-69-13-063-5-00)
