F-1. IGA WITH TOWN OF FOUNTAIN HILLS ASHBROOK WASH DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS BAYFIELD DRIVE TO DEL CAMBRE AVENUE Approve Intergovernmental Agreement FCD 2013A009 for the Ashbrook Wash Improvements Project, Bayfield Drive to Del Cambre Avenue (Project [#670]), identifying and defining the responsibilities of the Flood Control District of Maricopa County (District) and the Town of Fountain Hills (Town), for activities and cost share related to the design of the Project. This Agreement shall be effective as of the date that it has been executed by all parties and shall expire five years from the date that it is recorded. The Fountain Hills Area Drainage Master Plan, completed in 1997, identified flooding hazards in the Town of Fountain Hills and recommended solutions, including the Project, to mitigate those hazards. Conceptual plans for the Project include the replacement of the culvert crossings at Bayfield Drive and Saguaro Boulevard and channelization and vegetation clearing in Ashbrook Wash. The Project’s estimated design cost is $150,000. Construction will be addressed in a future IGA and is estimated at $1.5 million. This Agenda Item impacts Supervisorial District 2. (C-69-14-032-3-00)
