F-2. IGA WITH MARICOPA COUNTY FOR LAW ENFORCEMENT SERVICES Approve Intergovernmental Agreement FCD 2014A014 (the Agreement) between Maricopa County and the Flood Control District of Maricopa County (District) for Law Enforcement Service effective October 1, 1014 through September 30, 2019 with up to five, one-year automatic renewals beyond this initial term. The total estimated annual cost of the Agreement for year one is $82,860. Approval of this Agreement allows the Sheriff's Office to assigned one specific full time Sheriff's sworn deputy to patrol District property to enforce the law and statutory mandates. The District will reimburse the Sheriff's Office 100% of the employment costs of the District Deputy position plus a proportionate amount for Deputy Supervision. The Flood Control District will fund all Sheriff's required standard equipment for its patrol deputies plus operational costs (either through reimbursement or direct pay).
