F-1. AGREEMENT WITH EPCOR WATER ARIZONA, INC. FOR 115TH AVENUE AND UNION HILLS DRIVE DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT WATER LINE RELOCATIONS Approve Agreement FCD 2015G005 for construction, construction management, and operation and maintenance of the 115th Avenue and Union Hills Drive Drainage Improvements Project (Project [#450]) Water Line Relocations between EPCOR Water Arizona, Inc. (EPCOR) and the Flood Control District of Maricopa County (District). This Agreement defines responsibilities for construction, construction management, operation and maintenance of the Project, and for payment of the Project. The estimated cost of the water line relocations associated with this Agreement is $48,600. EPCOR will pay one hundred percent (100 %) of the actual costs of the water line relocations. The District, in cooperation with Peoria and Surprise, completed the Glendale/Peoria Area Drainage Master Plan Update (ADMPU) 107th Avenue and Union Hills Drive Design Concept Report (DCR). The DCR recommended the Project to mitigate flooding in the 115th Avenue, Union Hills Drive, and 107th Avenue area. The Project was also recommended in the FY 12/13 CIP Prioritization Procedure. The design for all phases has been completed to the thirty percent level and the first phase has been completed. This Agenda Item impacts Supervisorial District 4. (C-69-16-002-3-00)

AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT WITH EPCOR WATER ARIZONA INC FOR CONSTRUCTION, CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT, AND OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE OF THE 115TH AVENUE AND UNION HILLS DRIVE DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT WATER LINE RELOCATIONS Approve Amendment Number 1 to the Agreement FCD 2015G005 (FCD 2015G005A) for construction, construction management, and operation and maintenance of the 115th Avenue and Union Hills Drive Drainage Improvements Project (Project [#450]) Water Line Relocations between EPCOR Water Arizona Inc. (EPCOR) and the Flood Control District of Maricopa County (District). This Amendment adds a sleeve for a future sewer force main to EPCOR’s waterline relocation plans, to avoid future impacts to the roadway. The revised estimated cost of the water line relocations and sewer force main sleeve installation associated with this Agreement is $100,000. The District will include the water line relocations and sewer force main sleeve installation in the Drainage Project bid. When complete EPCOR will reimburse the District one hundred (100%) the total cost associated with the water line and sewer sleeve installation. (EPCOR) and the Flood Control District of Maricopa County (District). This Amendment includes EPCOR’s waterline relocation plans for 115th Avenue and Union Hills Drive Drainage Improvements Phase 2. The revised estimated cost of the water line relocations and sewer force main sleeve installation associated with this Agreement is $350,000. EPCOR will pay one hundred percent (100 %) of the actual costs of the water line relocations for Phase 2 of the Project.
