FA-1. SET A PUBLIC HEARING FOR FLOODPLAIN MANAGEMENT PLAN 2015 Pursuant to A.R.S. §§48-3616 B, set a public hearing for November 18, 2015 to solicit comments and consider the adoption of Resolution 2016R001, and the Floodplain Management Plan 2015. Upon Board approval, this item will become effective November 18, 2015. The Floodplain Management Plan 2015 can be accessed via the following link:http://www.fcd.maricopa.gov/citizen/FMPUpdate.aspx The Flood Control District of Maricopa County (District) administers the National Flood Insurance Program’s (NFIP) Community Rating System (CRS) for unincorporated Maricopa County. As part of the program, the District is required to update its Floodplain Management Plan (FMP). Development of the FMP was based on input from a committee representing the District, Maricopa County Planning & Development Department, various stakeholders, and the public. The committee consisted of three members from Maricopa County, ten stakeholders, and one resident. (C-69-16-012-6-00)

Upon Board approval, this item will become effective November 18, 2015.
