F-3. IGA WITH TOWN OF WICKENBURG FOR WICKENBURG FLOODED PROPERTIES ACQUISITION PROJECT Approve Intergovernmental (IGA) Agreement FCD 2015A013, between the Town of Wickenburg (Town) and the Flood Control District of Maricopa County (District) for the Wickenburg Flooded Properties Acquisition Project (Project). The Board adopted Resolution FCD 95-01A Floodprone Properties Acquisition Program in 2003, which amended Resolution FCD 95-01 Alternative Flood Control Works Program, authorizing the Floodprone Properties Acquisition Program to acquire and demolish residential structures located in flood prone areas where standard Capital Improvement Program projects are determined to be unfeasible. The Board adopted Resolution FCD 2006R003 Floodprone Properties Assistance Program in 2006, which amended FCD 95-01A and authorized the Chief Engineer and General Manager to negotiate and prepare intergovernmental agreements with local jurisdictions for property acquisition under the Floodprone Properties Assistance Program. This Intergovernmental Agreement FCD 2015A013 identifies the responsibilities of the Town and the District for the voluntary acquisition of certain properties flooded as a result of the storm of July 18, 2015, relocation of residents, demolition of residential and accessory structures, and the ownership and maintenance responsibilities of the Town following completion of the Wickenburg Flooded Properties Acquisition Project.
