IGA WITH ARIZONA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION (ADOT) FOR THE TEMPE DRAIN CLEANUP PROJECT Approve Intergovernmental Agreement (IGA) FCD 2020A022 (ADOT CAR No.: IGA 20-0007816-I) for the Tempe Drain Cleanup Project (PROJECT) between ADOT and the Flood Control District of Maricopa County (District). The estimated total Project cost for the District is $1,600,000. ADOT is the lead agency for this project which is a component of the larger ADOT project known as the Broadway Curve Project. ADOT invited the District to participate in the PROJECT which will improve the existing condition of the Tempe Drain channel by constructing a concrete channel lining. The District operates and maintains this channel and will continue to operate and maintain the completed PROJECT. This is a Major Maintenance project that will benefit the District’s operation and maintenance activities for this reach of the Tempe Drain Channel. This Agenda Item impacts Supervisorial District 5.
