93. AGREEMENT WITH THE ARIZONA DEPARTMENT OF WATER RESOURCES Approve agreement FCD 2020A026, Interferometric Synthetic Aperture Radar (InSAR) Products, with the Arizona Department of Water Resources (ADWR) to provide funds for the development of products for the detection of differential subsidence at areas currently being studied and monitored by the District. The cost to the District is $27,000 annually in exchange for the InSAR products, and the agreement will be effective through December 31st, 2025. InSAR has proven to be a valuable tool in detecting differential subsidence due to groundwater withdrawal at areas of ground movement being studied by the District. The detection of differential subsidence aids in predicting the location and timing of future ground movement and potential for earth fissure development. The continued use of InSAR is needed in order to provide a regional delineation of subsidence behavior and monitoring of ground movement at District dams and other areas of interest. This agreement includes InSAR products within Districts 1, 2, 4 & 5. (C-69-21-032-X-00)
