87. BIDS AND AWARD FOR FCD DURANGO CAMPUS PARKING LOT RENOVATION; LANDSCAPE AND WATER CONSERVATION RETROFIT Authorize the advertisement of the Invitation for Bids of the Durango Campus Parking Lot Renovation; Landscape and Water Conservation Retrofit (PCN 065.01.03) and the award of the contract to the lowest responsible bidder, if the bid is not more than ten percent (10%) over the engineer’s estimate. The project is a site renovation of the Flood Control District’s property at 2801 W Durango Street to include complete renovation of the parking lot and landscaping, both of which have reached the end of their design life. Landscape renovations will take advantage of water harvesting and conservation techniques such that project costs will be recovered through water savings. In addition, the wellness trail will be resurfaced, outdoor spaces for employees will be improved, and modifications made to achieve full ADA compliance. This property is owned and maintained by the Flood Control District of Maricopa County (FCDMC), and the project is 100% funded by FCDMC. This Agenda Item impacts Supervisor District 5.
