60. MOA WITH HYDROLOGIC ENGINEERING CENTER INSTITUTE FOR WATER RESOURCES MODIFICATION TO SOFTWARE Approve Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) FCD 2026A008 Modification to software developed and maintained by Hydrologic Engineering Center, Institute for Water Resources, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (CEIWR-HEC). This MOA allows CEIWR-HEC to add new software features, which will allow Maricopa County to model specific hydrologic and hydraulic details based on local environmental conditions. The MOA shall become effective on the last date of execution by both parties and will be in force for a period of 7 years. Under this MOA, the services will be performed under several Support Agreements (SAs). The Flood Control District and CEIWR-HEC shall negotiate mutually agreed-upon written SAs. The total amount to be expended for this MOA shall not exceed $700,000. CEIWR-HEC has developed and maintained several industry-standard engineering software tools for hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, which are the Flood Control District’s standard modeling tools. With this MOA, CEIWR-HEC will be able to customize their software based on Maricopa County’s current standards and needs. This item impacts all Supervisorial Districts. (C-69-26-024-X-00)
