47. REMOVAL FROM 5YR CIP AND CANCELLATION OF PROCUREMENT FOR ARCHITECTURAL SERVICES RE: REGIONAL DEVELOPMENT SERVICES AGENCY OFFICE BLDG Approve cancellation of the Regional Development Services Agency Office Building (Project No. 3324-09-414). Also, authorize removal of the following to the FY2008-09 Five-Year Capital Improvement Program: (1) Decrease the Financing Series 2009 Fund (442) Revenue and Expenditure budget in the amount of $75,000,000 to remove the project "Maricopa County Regional Development Services Agency Office Building" (Function Class - RDSA). The yearly expense was estimated to be: (Year 1 $2,000,000, Year 2 $30,000,000, Year 3 $43,000,000). (2) Approve the cancellation of the procurement for architectural services for the project. The facility would have been located in District 5. This project and its funding were approved by the Board of Supervisors on September 17, 2008. Due to a decrease in revenues of the departments designated as occupants for the facility, it is now reasonable and prudent to cancel the project at this time.
