26. IGA WITH CITY OF PHOENIX FOR JEFFERSON STREET STORM DRAIN IMPROVEMENTS Approve the application and acceptance of the Intergovernmental Agreement between Maricopa County and the City of Phoenix for the Downtown Phoenix Storm Drain Improvements along Jefferson Street from 19th Ave. to 3rd Ave. Project No. ST83130307 – Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) Headquarters. The above referenced MCSO HQ Project is within the scope of the City’s Area 1 Project. The Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office HQ is generally bound on the north by Jefferson Street, on the south by Jackson Street, on the west by 7th Avenue and on the east by 5th Avenue. The City has agreed to share in the costs of the MCSO HQ storm drain construction costs. The purpose of this Agreement is to identify and define the responsibilities of the Parties for cost sharing, right-of-way acquisition, utility relocation, construction, construction management and operation and maintenance for the Project Area 1, MCSO Headquarters Project Improvements.
