A-1. ONE TIME CONTINGENCY REQUEST AND AMENDMENT TO FIVE-YEAR MAJOR MAINTENANCE PLAN In accordance with A.R.S. 42-17106(B), authorize the following amendment to the FY 2014 budget: a) Decrease the expenditure authority for the Non Departmental (470) General Fund (100) Non Recurring Non Project (0001) Contingency (4711) in the line "Unreserved Contingency" by an amount not to exceed $550,000; b) Increase the expenditure authority in the Facilities Management (700) General Fund (100) in the Admin Building Improvements (ABII) Project by an amount not to exceed $550,000 from $0 to not more than $550,000; These actions will have a County-wide net impact of zero and they do not alter the budget constraining the expenditure of local revenues duly adopted by the Board pursuant to A.R.S. 42-17105. Approval of this action will allow the Facilities Management Department to replace the emergency generator, fuel tank, and automatic transfer switches for the 301. W. Jefferson Administration building. The current emergency generator is at the end if its life cycle. A new 1000kW generator will be installed. It is the primary emergency generator for the Administration Building. This action will only be taken if this work cannot be performed within the adopted FY General Fund Major Maintenance Operating Budget for Facilities Management. (C-70-14-002-2-00)
