33. AMENDMENT TO FIVE-YEAR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PLAN In accordance with A.R.S. 42-17106(B), authorize the following amendment to the Non Departmental (470) Five Year Capital Improvement Plan budget: a) Decrease the General Fund County Improvement Fund (445) Project Reserves (Res1) in FY 2018 in the amount of $1,200,000; and b) Increase the General Fund County Improvement Fund (445) East Court Improvement Project in FY 2015 by $1,200,000. The new project total for the East Court Improvement will be $12,430,394. These actions will have a County-wide net impact of zero and they do not alter the budget constraining the expenditure of local revenues duly adopted by the Board pursuant to A.R.S. 42-17105. In the course of this project it was discovered that there is asbestos in the return air shaft of the East Court Building which requires abatement far beyond the original scope. Approval of this action will allow the Facilities Management Department to perform the abatement. This project is split over multiple years and additional expenditure authority is not required in FY2014, but the project increase is necessary to move forward with the contract amendments.
