56. MASTER AGREEMENT WITH ARIZONA PUBLIC SERVICE COMPANY FOR SHARING COMMUNICATION SITES Approve a Master Agreement between Arizona Public Service Company and Maricopa County through the Facilities Management Department, for the purpose of Share Communication Facilities. This Master Agreement is non-financial and is effective from September 23, 2015 until September 23, 2040. This Master Agreement establishes the general guidelines that will allow both the County and Arizona Public Service Company to install and operate communication equipment at the other party’s communication sites. The term of the Master Agreement is twenty-five (25) years and the agreement may be terminated by either party with 60-days written notice. A site specific license agreement will be established between the parties for each specific site that is utilized under this Master Agreement. The costs associated with the co-location will be borne by the benefiting party. (C-70-16-007-3-00)

49. SITE SPECIFIC SUPPLEMENTAL AGREEMENT WITH ARIZONA PUBLIC SERVICE COMPANY FOR SHAW BUTTE COMMUNICATIONS SITE APPROVE, and authorize the Chairman to execute, all documents associated with Site Specific Supplemental Agreement (SSSA) P-50265 to allow the County to construct, install, operate and maintain communications facilities at the Shaw Butte Site as allowed per Master Agreement P-50260 (C-70-16-007-3-00) with Arizona Public Service Company (APS) and authorize the County to become a member of the Shaw Butte Users Association. This SSSA P-50260 allows Maricopa County the right to construct, install, operate, and maintain wireless communication equipment at the APS-owned wireless communication site atop Shaw Butte. This SSSA P-50260 will support the implementation of the County’s Radio System Upgrade Project. All funding for costs associated with the construction, installation and start-up of wireless communication equipment at the Shaw Butte site as contemplated by this SSSA P-50260 as well as any APS reimbursements are part of the County’s Radio System Upgrade Project budget. This agenda item also authorizes the County’s participation in the Shaw Butte Users Association. (C-70-17-015-3-00)
