47. COMPETITION IMPRACTICABLE WITH PEARSON ENGINEERING ASSOCIATES FOR OFFICE OF ENTERPRISE TECHNOLOGY REMOTE SITES REFRESH Approve Competition Impracticable for Design Services - Pearson Engineering Associates. This is a continuation of the ongoing Office of Enterprise Technology project for mechanical and electrical enhancements that support the new County technology upgrades. Pearson Engineering Associates has competitively been the design firm selected to complete previous OET Refresh Projects. They have specialized knowledge on how to design and complete these projects under strict time requirements. Their prior experience and historical knowledge also allows them to design per the County’s expectations in regards to the technical requirements necessary to support the OET upgrades. The cost of the design is $337.931.42. There are many technical and operational issues that Pearson Engineering is familiar with that a different design professional would have to learn. Their specialized experience and historical knowledge enhances their ability to complete the design process quickly and efficiently. (C-70-16-016-M-00)
