58. IGA WITH CITY OF MESA FOR USE OF REAL PROPERTY Approve, and authorize the Chairman to execute, Intergovernmental Agreement (Agreement) G-30188 with the City of Mesa (City) for use of the Southeast Facility Jail. This Agreement will allow City temporary use of approximately 4,467 square feet of the Southeast Sheriff’s Substation District 1, to hold arrestees in an off-site location during remodeling of the City’s’ holding and processing facility. The term of the Agreement will commence on, or about, May 13, 2016, and expire December 31, 2016. The City may extend the term of the Agreement month-to-month subject to County’s prior written consent. City will prepay County $4,800.00 for anticipated water and electricity costs associated with City’s use of the space. City will also reimburse County $9,700.00 for the operations and maintenance costs associated with the City’s use of the space. City shall bear the cost and expense of all telephone, voice-data, cable, security, internet and other communication service for City’s use of the Premises. Either Party may terminate the Agreement by 30-day written notice to the other. (C-70-16-035-3-00)
