37. AGREEMENT FOR APS PEAK SOLUTIONS - ELECTRICAL DEMAND RESPONSE PROGRAM Approve and execute Agreement to participate in a peak energy load reduction program with Arizona Public Service and their vendor CPower to reduce consumption during peak use periods. Participation in the pr ogram will help avoid service interruptions or blackouts, reduce the need to build new power capacity and sources, and will generate billing savings with reduced consumption. As part of this agreement, nine (9) County facilities will participate in the pro gram. The program is active from June 1, 2022 to September 30, 2022 from 4:00PM-9:00PM. Program is limited to a maximum of 18 total events with no more than 3 consecutive days in a row. There is no cost to participate and participation can end at any time without penalty. During an activation, the program provides a rebate of $40 KW and $0.09 kWh for energy use below benchmark levels. Agreement is an annual term with County option to renew. (C-70-22-004-X-00)
