47. INTERGOVERNMENTAL COOPERATIVE PURCHASING AGREEMENT WITH THE AKRON METROPOLITAN HOUSING AUTHORITY Approve an Intergovernmental Cooperative Purchasing Agreement with the Akron Metropolitan Housing Authority, a political subdivision of the State of Ohio. The Akron Metropolitan Housing Authority is seeking permission to make purchases to support their entity using contracts competitively awarded by Maricopa County under as statutorily authorized by A.R.S. 11-952, A.R.S. 41-2632 and Ohio Revised Code 9.48. The Akron Metropolitan Housing Authority is seeking permission to use Maricopa County contracts to support their operational procurement requirements. Authorization to enter into Cooperative Purchasing Agreements is permitted by statute by executing a written agreement defining the responsibilities of each party. This agreement has no financial impact on Maricopa County and the Akron Metropolitan Housing Authority is solely responsible for all purchased made under any County contracts they utilize.
