29. AGREEMENT WITH STATE OF ARIZONA MARCH 2014 Approved an intergovernmental cooperative purchase agreement with the State of Arizona by and through the Arizona Department of Administration in accordance with Arizona Revised Statute 41-2631. Maricopa County currently has an intergovernmental cooperative purchasing agreement in place with the State of Arizona. This request is to enter into a new agreement that in addition to the County includes the Library District, Stadium District and Flood Control District. The purpose of this agreement is to permit Maricopa County and the named Districts to obtain commodities and services utilizing State of Arizona Contract when it is determined to be in the best interest of the County. The agreement will be effective upon execution by the State of Arizona for a term of five (5) years. (C-73-14-057-3-00)
