SHIELD NEW JAIL MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (170002-RFP) Approve the Contract for award at an estimated $11,498,168.00 over a period of ten (10) years until March 31, 2027, with the option to renew for an additional ten (10) years. The contract effective date will be March 22, 2017. The purpose of the contract is for the acquisition of software installation and configuration services for the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office to replace the Jail Management System. Also, direct the Office of Management and Budget to increase the operating budget for the support of the new Jail Management System in the amount required annually to provide the contracted maintenance services in the appropriate fiscal years as the new system is brought online.
