SETTING OF PUBLIC HEARING RE: PROPOSED AMENDMENTS TO THE MARICOPA COUNTY PROCUREMENT CODE- EROP CASE# OPS - 2020-001 Pursuant to the County approved Enhanced Regulatory Outreach Process requirements, set the Public Hearing for February 24, 2021 to solicit comments and consider adoption of proposed changes to the Maricopa County Procurement Code. Requested changes include administrative corrections, conforming and technical changes as well as the following substantive changes: MC1-379.B - Increase the maximum allowable amount grant funded departments can spend on program incentives and food for non-employee related events from $1000 to $2500. MC1-377 - Increase the maximum allowable amount that departments can spend on conference facilities from $10,000 to $15,000. These limits have not been changed in over ten years and are no longer practical. MC1- 503.G. 2 Modify the maximum value of a single job order contact assignment from $1 million to $2 million. In response to requests from the Directors of the Flood Control District, Transportation and Facilities Management, staff recommends an amendment to the single work assignment limit on a job order contract from $1 million to $2 million. Due to rising construction costs, this change is necessary in order to continue to use the JOC project delivery method effectively. MC1-346.D & E Increase nominal value from $5,000 to $10,000 in order to conform with 2 C.F.R.§200.67 (Uniform Guidance) and Arizona Administrative Code § R2-7- D302. Following the Public Hearing, the Board is requested to adopt the proposed amendments to the Code. Upon Board approval, this item will become effective February 24, 2021. (C-73-21-067-X-00)
