38. 190221-CI, FINANCIAL ADVISORY SERVICES Authorize the Chief Procurement Officer to approve a Competition Impracticable contract between Maricopa County and Piper Sandler & Co., an Arizona corporation (“Contractor”) for the purchase of financial advisory services. This Contract is for a term of five (5) years, beginning on the 1st day of December 2018 and ending the 30th day of November 2023 with renewal options of up to five (5) years. The authorized amount of the contract for the initial term is not -to- exceed $1,500,000. This contract was initially approved the Chief Procurement Officer in November of 2018 with the understanding that the fiscal year annual amount of contract expenditures would not exceed the Maricopa County Procurement Code’s $100,000 authorized limit for the Chief Procurement Officer, however, based on the current needs of the County that amount is expected to exceed the $100,000 limit in the current fiscal year. This agenda retroactively authorizes the higher limit for this contract. (C-73-22-057-X-00)
