53. 260051-C, TRAFFIC SIGNAL CONTROLLER PROCUREMENT FOR CONNECTED VEHICLE ACCELERATION ZONE Approve the contract for award between Maricopa County and Paradigm Traffic Systems, Inc. The purpose of the contract is to provide Maricopa County Department of Transportation (MCDOT) traffic signal controllers to support the Connected Vehicle Acceleration Zone (CVAZ). These controllers will integrate with the connected vehicle infrastructure components to support applications including Emergency Vehicle Preemption (EVP), Transit Signal Priority (TSP), Freight Signal Priority (FSP), and Vulnerable Road User (VRU) safety. The award estimate is $553,466.64 over two years until March 31, 2028 with four one-year renewal options. The effective date of the contract will be March 25, 2026. (C-73-26-030-X-00)
