55. 260050-RFP, CVAZ FIELD EQUIPMENT AND ON-BOARD UNIT INSTALLATION SERVICES Approve the contracts for award for the purpose of providing Maricopa County’s Department of Transportation (MCDOT) installation and integration of Vehicle-to-Everything (V2X) field equipment and on-board units (OBUs). This technology installation consists of sensors, attenas, and transceivers to improve roadway safety, and connectivity. This project is part of the funding previously received by MCDOT for the Connected Vehicle Acceleration Zone (CVAZ) project. The contract award will be for an estimate of $1,200,000.00 over two years until March 31, 2028 with a maximum of one additional renewal year.
