89. 260089-C, SPECIAL BUY: MISCELLANEOUS FOOD ITEMS Approve the contract for multiple awards at an estimate of $2,500,000.00 over two years until June 30, 2028, with up to three annual renewal options. The effective date of the contract will be June 30, 2026. The purpose of the contract is to provide Maricopa County with vendors from which Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) can issue quotes for food items on an as-needed basis, including on demand buys, and seasonal opportunity buys such as surplus fruits, vegetables, and bread. This will replace the expiring contract 210209-C. Under the previous contract, total expenditures for FY2025 and FY2026 were approximately $2.3 million. The recommended award amount reflects this historical spend and anticipated ongoing needs.
