43. PURCHASE REPLACEMENT VEHICLES Direct Equipment Services to procure the following vehicles to serve as replacement stock for vehicle replacements: 19-Normal/Marked Patrol Sedans 4-Unmarked Patrol Sedans 20-Normal/Marked Patrol SUVs 9-Unmarked Patrol SUVs This results in no increase to the County fleet, however these vehicles are not scheduled to be put into service immediately upon delivery. Equipment Services have analyzed the need for these vehicles to be replaced based on the projected miles, age, and maintenance cost. (C-74-10-006-V-00)
