51. PURCHASE AND OPERATING TRANSFER OF VEHICLE Approve the purchase and operating transfer of one (1) vehicle from the Air Quality Department (850) to the Sheriff’s Office (500) Detention Operations. Vehicle #72171, was involved in an accident and is beyond repair. The value of the surplus vehicle, 71817, being used for replacement is $12,000. This results in a net decrease to the County fleet of one vehicle. MCSO will use this vehicle for Custodial services. Authorize and approve a non-recurring fund transfer of $12,000 from the Detention Fund (255) to the Air Quality Fees Fund (504). Per A.R.S. 42-17106(B), approve the following budget adjustments: 1. Increase the FY 2010-11 Air Quality (850) Air Quality Fees Fund (504) Non-Recurring/Non-Project (0001) revenue appropriation in the amount of $12,000; 2. Fund transfer out of the Detention Operations Fund (255) in the amount of $12,000. The transfer out will occur in the “Vehicle Replacement” line. Expenditure authority will be moved within the line to accommodate the transfer out. 3. Offsetting expenditure and revenue adjustments in Eliminations (980) Eliminations Fund (900) Non-Recurring/Non-Project (0001). 4. Offset the decrease in expenditure authority by increasing Non Departmental (470) Grant Fund (249) Non-Recurring/Non-Project (0001) by $12,000 Vehicle being removed from the County Fleet: Equipment No. – Description 72171 - 1991 Chevrolet S10 Compact Pickup Vehicle being acquired from Air Quality as replacement: Equipment No. – Description 71817 - 2001 Ford Ranger Compact Pickup - $12,000 (C-74-11-008-V-00)
