6. PRESENTATION OF THE GRADUATING CLASS OF THE 2015 ROAD BUILDER PROGRAM Presentation regarding the GRADUATION CLASS OF 2015 ROAD BUILDER PROGRAM. PAULINE HECKER, DIRECTOR, RISK MANAGEMENT BILL WILEY, DIRECTOR, FLOOD CONTROL The Maricopa County Risk Management Safety Division sponsors two college level programs, "Road Builder" for heavy equipment journey person training and "Construction Worker" for craft journey person training. In 2013, Risk Management Safety Division partnered with the Flood Control District to develop Construction Worker Cement Finishing training, Flood Control supplying craft training and Safety Office supplying theoretical/core training. Construction Worker Training consisted of 11.5 credit hours and the project "Tres Rios" at Holly Acres was used to complete the 11.5 credit hours. Employees enrolled in the project were instructed in all planning, layout, forming concrete and finishing to completion. The 7 Flood Control employees to complete this program and be awarded certificates for Cement Finishing are Mark Harrald Jr., Isaac Flores, Juan Hernandez, Lee Nix, Louis Pena, Dennis Robinson, Carl Preston Jr. (C-75-15-010-P-00)
