42. AMENDMENT TO CONTRACT WITH THOMPSON PEAK - DEPARTMENT OF ENERGY, WESTERN AREA POWER ADMINISTRATION COMMUNICATIONS SHARING AGREEMENT G-30139 Approve Amendment No. 2 to a contract between the Department of Energy, Western Area Power Administration and Maricopa County through the Office of Enterprise Technology. The purpose of this amendment is to extend the termination date of this contract to September 30, 2016. This amendment is non-financial and is effective from September 30, 2012 until September 30, 2016. All other terms and conditions of the contract remain in full force and effect. On March 3, 2004 Maricopa County and the U.S. Department of Energy Western Area Power Administration (WAPA) approved a contract (WAPA No. 03-DSR-11429 / County No. C-76-04-007-2-00) to exchange tower and building space at both Towers Mountain and Oatman Mountain. The contract allows the County to place its communication equipment within the WAPA owned site at Towers Mountain and WAPA the right to place its communications equipment within the County owned Oatman Mountain site. Contract was amended to extend the agreement in 2008. The contract must now be amended and approved by both parties allowing for a new contract term which will now terminate on September 30, 2016 (C-76-04-007-2-02)

50. AMENDMENT TO CONTRACT WITH UNITED STATE DEPARTMENT OF ENERGY WESTERN AREA POWER ADMINISTRATION FOR COMMUNICATION SHARING AGREEMENT Approve, and authorize the Chairman to execute, Amendment No. 3 to a contract between the Department of Energy, Western Area Power Administration and Maricopa County. The purpose of this amendment is to extend the termination date of this contract to September 30, 2020. This amendment is non-financial and effective form September 30, 2016 until September 30, 2020. All other terms and conditions of the contract remain in full force and effect. (C-76-04-007-2-03)
