S-1. DISPOSAL OF EXCESS PLYWOOD Authorize the District to donate excess plywood previously used for District Events at Chase Field pursuant to A.R.S. §48-4203. The District will donate 16 pallets to Buckeye High School in Buckeye, AZ and up to 61 pallets to Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office. The remaining pallets of plywood will be disposed of pursuant to regular surplus property disposal process. The donation of the material allows the District to avoid the cost of disposal The Stadium District Board adopted much of the Maricopa County Procurement Code at its meeting on December 15, 1999 (C-78-00-005-00), including Article 8 which addresses disposal of surplus property. The excess plywood has little if any value as material or product, and disposal of all plywood pursuant to Article 8 could result in a net cost for disposal. Therefore it is recommended that the Board authorize the donations set forth above. (C-68-17-004-M-00)
