SALE OF REAL PROPERTY TO THE CITY OF AVONDALE Approve and authorize the Chairman to execute a Purchase Agreement and Transaction Instructions, Deed, and all other required documents approved by legal counsel for the sale of County owned real property to the City of Avondale, without public auction pursuant to A.R.S. § 11-251. This item is located in Supervisor District 5. THIS ACTION REQUIRES UNANIMOUS CONSENT OF THE BOARD On June 13, 2018, the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors approved agenda item no. C-78-18-017-3-00 to declare excess to the County’s needs and approve the sale of County-owned real property identified as APN 101-01-016 and APN 101-01-017. The City of Avondale purchased APN 101-10-016 (C-78-19-017-3-00) and now desires to purchase the West 30 feet of APN 101-01-017 located adjacent to the Avondale City complex for the agreed upon purchase price of eight thousand three hundred and six dollars ($8,306.00). After approval of this transaction by the Board of Supervisors and full execution of the Purchase Agreement, the close of the transaction shall occur no later than ninety days (90) business days after the last day of the buyer’s inspection period ends. The remainder of parcel APN 101-01-017 will be offered for sale by public auction, pursuant to A.R.S. § 11-251, at a later date. (C-78-20-009-3-00)
