40. AGREEMENT WITH VALLEY CATS RESCUE FOR NEW HOPE PROGRAM Approve an Agreement between Valley Cats Rescue, a 501 (C) 3 corporation, P. O. Box 11048, Tempe, AZ 85284-0018, and Maricopa County to allow Valley Cats Rescue under the New Hope Program to rescue animals that have been deemed eligible for the New Hope program. Maricopa County will provide a rabies vaccination, within the first year of rescue for each cat at no cost to the Contractor. The cost for these services is $20 for each animal rescued. Animal Care & Control estimates 250 new hope rescues over the term of the agreement, for a total of $5,000. The term of this Agreement is from February 24, 2010 through June 30, 2013.
