51. AGREEMENT WITH FRIENDS OF ANIMAL CARE AND CONTROL FOR FUNDRAISING Approve an Agreement between FACCs – Friends of Animal Care & Control, an Arizona corporation, hereby referred to as FACCs, and Maricopa County, in accordance to A.R.S. § 11-251.62, for the purpose of fundraising on behalf of Maricopa County Animal Care & Control (MCACC) to support non-mandated services limited to low cost spay and neuter, public education and outreach efforts, pet adoption efforts, and capital improvement projects. It is anticipated MCACC will receive $2,299,987.80 in donations from FACCs over the term of the agreement. Donation revenue received will be deposited to the Fund (573), Agency (791), Low Org. 7910 for future allocation. The term of the Agreement is for three years from the date of execution, beginning May 12, 2010 through May 11, 2013. (C-79-10-123-3-00)

32. AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT WITH FRIENDS OF ANIMAL CARE & CONTROL Approve Amendment No. 1 to Agreement C-79-10-123-3-00 between Friends of Animal Care & Control (FACCs) and Maricopa County on behalf of Maricopa County Animal Care and Control, for the purpose of clarifying the donation funding offered the County. This Amendment shall become effective upon full execution. Maricopa County Animal Care and Control is requesting the amended changes: Delete: II SCOPE: Item 7. CONTRACTOR agrees to reimburse COUNTY in full for COUNTY’s payment of all valid invoices presented by veterinarians for spaying and neutering surgeries performed pursuant to the presentation of a valid voucher issued by COUNTY in connection with the Spay/Neuter Assistance Program (SNAP) and in reliance upon COUNTY’s obligation to make such payments to the participating veterinarians. V. E-VERIFICATION OF EMPLOYEES: Item 1. subsection A; Add: II SCOPE: Item 7. CONTRACTOR agrees to reimburse COUNTY in full for COUNTY’s payment of all valid invoices presented by veterinarians for spaying and neutering surgeries performed in accordance to the CONTRACTOR’s annual approved budget and pursuant to the presentation of a valid voucher issued by COUNTY in connection with the Spay/Neuter Assistance Program (SNAP) and in reliance upon COUNTY’s obligation to make such payments to the participating veterinarians. CONTRACTOR shall notify COUNTY of the CONTRACTOR’s annual approved budget before the beginning of the CONTRACTOR’s fiscal year. Contractor shall notify County at least sixty (60) days in advance of any proposed changes to its approved annual budget. CONTRACTOR has no obligation of payment of any invoices submitted by COUNTY that are not in accordance to the CONTRACTOR’s annual budget. V. E-VERIFICATION OF EMPLOYEES: Item 1. subsection A and shall keep a record of the verification for the duration of the employee's employment or at least three years, whichever is longer; All other terms and conditions of the original agreement remain in full force and effect.
