24. TERMINATION OF AGREEMENT WITH PETSMART CHARITIES, INC. Authorize termination of the Adoption Program and Grant Agreement (C-79-11-045-3-00) between PetSmart Charities, Inc., and Maricopa County. Authorize the Director of Animal Care and Control to execute and sign a 90-day written notice of termination to PetSmart Charities, Inc. for any and all Adoption Centers including the Enhanced Center located within PetSmart Store #1864 at 4380 North Miller Road, Scottsdale, AZ 85254 and any related documentation. The effective date of termination is May 17, 2016. The Adoption Program and Grant Agreement was entered into October 20, 2010 for an initial three-year term followed by automatic one-year renewals until terminated. Maricopa County Animal Care and Control (MCACC) is requesting termination of the contract between PetSmart Charities, Inc. and Maricopa County for any and all Adoption Centers including the Enhanced Center within PetSmart Store #1864 at 4380 North Miller Road, Scottsdale, AZ 85254. The termination would allow MCACC to reassign staff to other locations to meet the needs of the department. (C-79-11-045-3-01)
