26. IGA WITH ARIZONA DEPARTMENT OF CORRECTIONS FOR INMATE WORK FORCE Approve an Intergovernmental Agreement (IGA) between Maricopa County through Maricopa County Animal Care & Control (MCACC) and the Arizona Department of Corrections, for an inmate labor force to support the general housekeeping/janitorial; landscaping, and light maintenance services of the County animal shelter, located at 2630 W. 8th Street, Mesa, AZ. The County shall pay $0.50 per hour for inmate labor at an estimated cost of $5,200, based on a 40 hour work week and labor services of five (5) inmates. The term of the IGA shall commence upon full execution of signatures for one year with the option to renew the IGA for four additional one year terms. (C-79-11-105-3-00)

AMENDMENT TO IGA WITH ARIZONA DEPARTMENT OF CORRECTIONS FOR INMATE SERVICES Approve Amendment No. 2 to an Intergovernmental Agreement between Arizona Department of Corrections and Maricopa County through the Animal Care & Control in the not-to-exceed amount of $5,200. The purpose of this amendment is to extend the term of the IGA for an additional twelve (12) months. This amendment is effective from April 14, 2013 to April 13, 2014. All other terms and conditions of the Intergovernmental Agreement remain in full force and effect. The County shall pay $0.50 per hour for inmate labor at an estimated cost of $5,200, based on a 40 hour work week and labor services of five inmates. The term of the IGA shall commence upon full execution of signatures for one year with the option to renew the IGA for three additional one year terms. (C-79-11-105-3-02)
