38. NEW HOPE AGREEMENT WITH DESERT IRISH WOLFHOUND ASSOCIATION & RESCUE Approve an Agreement between Sue Marvin, d.b.a. Desert Irish Wolfhound Association & Rescue, 6027 W. Sandra Terrace, Glendale, AZ 85306, and Maricopa County to allow Desert Irish Wolfhound Association & Rescue under the New Hope Program to rescue animals that have been deemed eligible for the New Hope program. Maricopa County will provide a rabies vaccination, dog license tag and new owner transfer fee within the first year of rescue for each dog three months of age or older at no cost to the Contractor. The cost for these services is $41 for each animal rescued. Animal Care & Control estimates 4 new hope rescues over the term of the agreement, for a total of $164. The term of this Agreement is from September 17, 2011 through June 30, 2013. (C-79-12-023-3-00)
