30. NEW HOPE AGREEMENT WITH THE HAPPY DOG INN Approve an Agreement between Tom Hebert, d.b.a. The Happy Dog Inn, 28307 N. 156th Street, Scottsdale, AZ 85262, and Maricopa County to allow The Happy Dog Inn under the New Hope Program to rescue animals that have been deemed eligible for the New Hope program. Maricopa County will provide a rabies vaccination, dog license tag and new owner transfer fee within the first year of rescue for each dog three months of age or older at no cost to the Contractor. The cost for these services is $41 for each animal rescued. Animal Care & Control estimates 18 new hope rescues over the term of the agreement, for a total of $738. The term of this Agreement is from October 19, 2011 through June 30, 2012. (C-79-12-040-3-00)
